Juniors Summer Rowing

Maine Coast Rowing’s Juniors Summer Program welcomes both new and experienced rowers to develop their skills and confidence on the water. Rowers primarily train in small boats (singles, doubles, and pairs) allowing for focused technical instruction and individual growth that will benefit them as they transition back to team boats. Each session emphasizes rowing fundamentals, teamwork, fitness, and on-water awareness, preparing athletes for a successful fall season and laying a strong foundation for those interested in rowing at the collegiate level.

For experienced rowers who cannot make these times due to work commitments, please contact the coaching staff at juniors@mcrarowing.org to explore other coached and uncoached sessions.

Juniors Summer 2025

Sessions:

Session 1: June 16^th to June 27^th

Session 2: June 30^th to July 11^th (July 4^th off)

Session 3 : July 14^th to July 25^th

Session 4: July 28^th to August 8^th

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 10:30 am

Fees: $250 per session or $800 for all four sessions

Financial Aid:

MCRA is fully committed to ensuring that all who want to row can take part in our program. Limited financial aid is available each season to help those with the greatest need. If you anticipate that you will apply for financial aid, please email at juniors@mcrarowing.org as soon as possible to discuss the process with our coaches. All discussions are private and confidential with our scholarship review team.
